Photo shows a general view of Jos, Plateau State on November 30, 2008. Some 200 people were killed in two days of post-election violence in the central Nigerian city of Jos, the Plateau State information minister said, giving the first official toll. Calm appeared to have returned to the city of two million which is the capital of Plateau State and lies in Nigeria's "middle belt," between the predominantly Muslim north and mainly Christian south.
