Maixent Accrombessi

Former senior executive in the financial services and import-export divisions of several French private companies, Maixent Accrombessi has risen within the Gabonese state apparatus since 1997.

Initially serving as financial advisor to the High Representative of the President of the Republic of Gabon, Accrombessi then moved on to become the advisor to the defense minister. In 2009, he successfully took over the post of President Ali Bongo’s Head of Cabinet, and was promoted to the Chief of Staff in 2012. As such, he assists the President of the Republic of Gabon in the conduct of all governmental affairs.
